For over 15 years, I've photographed families across Northern California and throughout the western states, and I recently put down roots right here on the Monterey coast. There's something about the fog rolling over Carmel Beach, the quiet coves of Pacific Grove, and the dramatic cliffs of Big Sur that feels like exactly where I'm supposed to be — and I can't wait to spend this next chapter capturing families against this coastline.

For me, family comes first. It's my main inspiration in this journey on earth, and I absolutely love connecting with others who share the same outlook on life. I hope when my boys see me at work, they realize they can pursue something meaningful, use their natural gifts, and build a life around what lights them up.

I know all too well how fast time flies and that we are never promised a tomorrow. I lost my mom when I was 16, and the photos I have with her are what I cherish most. I'll never get to feel her loving embrace again, but I'll be forever grateful for the photos that documented our story. That's the heart behind everything I do behind the camera — capturing the real, in-between moments families don't realize they'll want to hold onto someday.
